Put the drone up this afternoon on the way back home from a round of golf in the Lafayette area. Too long, not edited for impact, but I’ve always found the sight of all those windmills haunting and fascinating. It’s even better from the air when you can appreciate all the geometry of the fields and agriculture below them.

Finally replaced my damaged drone after coming to grips with the fact that it will catch fire if I power it up.

Successfully flew a mission to capture footage of a local golf course for an upcoming event I’m filming and photographing for a local Little League fundraiser.

I have come to the conclusion that I am much happier after a successful landing than I am just after a successful launch.

Photographed the USGLC luncheon today in Gary Indiana at the Arthouse. The surprise speaker of honor was Congressman Frank Mrvan. Outstanding experience, excited to have taken part!

Traveling between shoot locations today I came across the second stop sign I’ve photographed this week, both of which lacked confidence.
